An attempt was made yesterday to rob the Savings Bank of New London by three men. One of them was arrested, and gave his name as Charles Brown.
At the annual meeting of the American Social Science Association, held at Boston, Wednesday, David A. Wells, of Norwich, Conn., was elected President for the ensuing year.
