Mrs. Elizabeth BLACK, aged 72 years, died yesterday afternoon, after an illness of four months. She was one of the oldest settlers, coming here from Ohio in 1825. Her maiden name was STOUT, and her father built the first water mill on Shoal Creek. She was the mother of eleven children, six of whom survive her.
