A telephone has been placed in the residence of Geo. W. Stewart on Elm
Chas. W. Mussey has entered on his duties as cashier of the National
Bank of Rutland.
We are pleased to learn that Wayne Bailey has nearly recovered from his
Fred'k Gay is to occupy the house on Cottage street, made vacant by the
departure of J. C. Pease.
Governor Proctor has sold the new house recently erected by him on
Harrison avenue to A. D. Perkins.
No date has yet been fixed to the contemplated entertainment to be given
by the Kinglsey guard.
A new cross-walk is being laid by Commissioner Green, on Washington
street, at the head of Prospect street.
Invitations have been issued by the Baxter hose company for their eighth
annual ball, which occurs at Baxter music hall, Wednesday evening,
