FOUND DEAD ON FLOOR.

Mrs. C. W. Crippen of Fair Haven Victim of Heart Disease.

Fair Haven, July 31--Mrs. Charles W.Crippen of this village, aged 59 years,
was found dead in her bedroom by her husband early this morning. She had had
frequent attacks of heart trouble and her death is assigned to this cause. Mr.
Crippen, who is a liveryman, returned home soon after daylight from a long drive
and thinking that his wife was asleep, lay on a sofa in another room so as not to
disturb her. Later he prepared breakfast and going to call Mrs. Crippen found her
body, undressed, laying on the bedroom floor. She had been stricken while getting
ready for bed.
