Carnival Closed
-------
OGDEN, Utah, July 7.The carnival closed Friday night in a blaze of glory with a grand ball in the palace. The proceedings of the day began with the tourney, in which the knights and cowboys participated, the former being victorious by two points. At 12 oclock when the masks were removed it was found that Rex II was John U. Cannon, one of the editors of The Standard, of this city, and one of the best known men in Utah. The queen was Miss Anderson, also of Ogden.
