Mr. William Bennett left Calgary for his old home in Elkhorn, Manitoba on Sunday morning, having received the sad news of his father's death.
Rev. A.E. Green, methodist missionary on the Alaska line, B.C. went west on the No. 1 Express on Saturday, on his way to the scene of his labors amoung the Indians. The Rev Green, missionary at the Naas River, BC who has been on a visit to his father of Red Deer, ALberta returned last evening to Calgary in his way back to BC.
Mrs. Braithwaite, wife of A.D. Braithwaite, manager of the Bank of Montreal at Calgary, left by the 3:15 am train Saturday morning to visit her parents in Hamilton, Ontario.
Mr. R. J. Ogburn, who has been for sometime running the Palace Hotel in Parrishes block corner on Atlantic Avenue and McTavish Street left this morning to open a hotel at Gleichen.
Mr J.B. Mudge, of Montreal, agent and Manager for Canada of the Queen's Insurance Company, paid Calgary a visit today.
