Burritt Pioneer is Dead Mrs. Isabella Milne Passes Away at the Age of 75

Mrs. Isabella MILNE died yesterday afternoon at her home in the town of Burritt, aged 75 years.

Mrs. MILNE's maiden name was Isabella Porter, and she was born in Banffshire, Scotland, Jan. 25, 1826. She came to this country in 1845, undergoing all the privations incident to the life of pioneers, fulfilling every duty as wife, mother, friend, and neighbor, leaving as a legacy a name that will long be revered by all who had the good fortune to make her acquaintance.

She was a friend and helper to many a homeless person when homes and houses were far apart. Her house, like her heart, was always open to every person who needed help. Her life was spent in doing good so far as lay in her power.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
