Sale of trotters and roadsters, carriages, harness, &c., &c.
On account of ill health I will sell on the above date the following:
My gray trotting horse, Charley H., by Sam Purdy, 6 years old, sound and warranted. Charley H. is by Sam Purdy, First dam Telegraph. Telegraph by Blood’s Black Hawk. Second dam by imported Revenue, out of a Hambletonian mare. The grand dam came from Kentucky after the close of the war. This horse was raised by Mr. FORNEY of New Market, Va., his dam still living.
Bay horse Chester, 6 years old and sound, by Membrino Allen, dam Lady Buck, and she out of Lady Bug; she out of Partnership, sired by Black Dan, he by Register; can trot in 2.40; very prompt driver.
One roan horse, Rocket, 8 years old, sound, kind and can pace to a wagon in 2.40.
One bay colt, Stonewall, coming 3 years old, by Son of Frank Pierce, thoroughly broken and gives promise of being very fast.
One bay horse, Dude, 6 years old, kind, nice, prompt driver, quite speedy.
One new Toomey latest patent truss bar brass axle combination bike sulky, made to order, cost $200.
One very fine Miller cart, one handmade buggy phaeton, very little used; one Coartland King spring open buggy, one two (2) horse speeding pole cart for breaking colts, one two (2) horse top surrey, lot harness, single and double, all in first-rate condition; horse books, &c., &c.

By virtue of a deed of trust to us, bearing date September 15, A. D. 1892, duly recorded in Liber 1718, folio 401 et seq., of the land records of the District of Columbia, and at the request of the parties secured thereby, we, the undersigned trustees, will sell at public auction, in front of the premises, on Friday, the tenth day of November, A. D. 1893, at half-past four o’clock p.m., all that certain piece or parcel of land and premises situate in the city of Georgetown, District of Columbia, and known and distinguished as and being lot numbered 32 in Curtin and Manogue’s subdivision in square numbered 75, Georgetown, as per plat recorded in Liber A. R. Shepherd (Georgetown), folio 243, of the records of the surveyor’s office of said District, said lot having a frontage of 20 feet by a depth of 100 feet, together with the improvements thereon, consisting of a three-story brick dwelling numbered 3319 O street northwest.
Terms of sale: One-third of the purchase money to be paid in cash, balance in three equal installments, payable in 1, 2, and 3 years, with interest at 6 per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, and secured by deed of trust on the property sold, or all cash, at option of the purchaser. A deposit of $200 will be required at time of sale. All conveyancing and recording at purchaser’s cost. Terms of sale to be complied with in ten days from date of sale, otherwise trustees reserve the right to resell at risk and cost of defaulting purchaser or purchasers.

Trustees’ sale of Two (2) Two-story bay-window brick dwellings, Nos. 1201 and 1203 I street northeast, Washington, D. C.

By virtue of a decree of the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, passed on the 15th day of March, A. D. 1893, in a cause wherein William R. COON and others are complainants and Elmer E. ATKINSON and others are defendants, being equity cause No. 13200, wherein the undersigned were appointed trustees to make sale of the real estate in said decree described, we will, in pursuance of said decree, on Wednesday, the Eighth day of November, A. D. 1893, at half-past four o’clock p.m., offer for sale at public auction, in front of the premises, the following described real estate, to wit: Lots numbered 146 and 147 in square numbered 1003, in the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia.
Terms of sale as described by the decree: One-third of the purchase money in cash and the remainder in two equal installments in one and two years respectively, with interest at six per cent per annum until paid, the deferred payments to be secured by deed of trust on the property, or all cash, at the option of the purchaser. All conveyancing and recording at the purchaser’s cost. A deposit of $100 on each lot will be required at time of sale. If the terms of sale shall not be complied with within ten days from day of sale the trustees reserve the right to resell the property at the risk of the defaulting purchaser.
