MOTHER CORSICANA MAN WAS BURIED IN HILLSBORO TUESDAY</strong><br />

HILLSBORO, March 16, Funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth <strong>PERRY LEWIS</strong>, aged 83 years, who died here Wednesday morning.  She was born in Davidson county, Tennessee, and came to Texas when three years of age with her parents.  The family located in Smith county, later moving to Henderson county and from there to Navarro county.  She moved to Waco 12 years ago and had resided here since 1936.<br />

Surviving are seven children, Bud<strong> LEWIS</strong>, Corsicana; Jeff <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Athens; J. W. <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Aquilla; Ira <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Hillsboro; Mrs. Nannie <strong>ELMORE</strong>, China Springs; Miss Emma <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Dallas, and Mrs. Maudie <strong>WILSON</strong>, Sweetwater; two step-sons, Shuford <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Lawton, Oklahoma, and P. G. <strong>LEWIS</strong>, Dunlap, N. W.; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.</p>
