Ambrosius MOLLES - Ambrosius MOLLES, the father of John MOLLES, principal of the Freeburg public schools, died Monday morning after an illness of a year. MOLLES was 76 years old. He was a native of Switzerland and emigrated to this country in his youth. He was a veteran of the Civil War. His wife died eight years ago. He is survived by his children: Prof. John MOLLES of Freeburg and Mrs. Mary KELLER of Prairie du Long Township. Henry WINTER, a stepson, who is a banker of Lenzburg, also survives. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the family home to the Lutheran Church. Rev. BARKAN will officiate. Burial will be made in the New Athens Cemetery.

Aurthur F. STERNAU, of 268 South Church street, died at 3:30 Tuesday morning. STERNAU was 17 years old, and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph STERNAU. He was born May 14, 1900 and is survived by one sister. The brothers are: Henry, Walter and Alex, and the sister is Alvina. His parents also survive. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the home, 208 South Church street, to Walnut Hill Cemetery at 2 o'clock.
