Illinois Democratic Convention is Considering
Various Prospects for Presidential Nomination
(Telegram to The News)
East St. Louis, Ill., Sept. 22. It is now probable that a boom for Joe Folk for president will be attempted to be launched by his friends at the Illinois democratic convention. Roger Sullivan of Chicago is opposed to any one being endorsed this early.
Champ Clarks boomlet is still being pushed by his friends, but there is no evidence yet that the convention will endorse any prospective candidate.
