Hawaiians Will Give Musicale at Press Club

Amateur and professional musicians from the Hawaiian Islands will vie in a friendly contest for popularity at the National Press Club tonight.
The club entertainment is billed as “Hawaiian Night.” Musicians from the islands who lived in Washington will furnish a part of the musical entertainment and a quintet of players from the “Bird of Paradise” company, now playing at the Belasco, will render in addition to instrumental music a number of the native songs of the islands.
Edwin EMERSON, the distinguished journalist and lecturer, will talk tonight on the European war. The program will begin at 9 o’clock.
