Boy Found Not Guilty
Winfield, Kansas, June 21. The jury in the case of Charles Betts, a thirteen-year old boy charged with killing C. L. Wiltberger, a farmer, for his money, today returned a verdict of not guilty. Wiltberger was shot from behind on April 18 last while returning from town after having sold a load of grain. The jury was out for thirty hours.
