Ten Changes Announced In Interior Department

Ten changes in the Interior Department, including a number of transfers, appointments, and resignations, were announced by Secretary LANE today. They are:
Probationary appointments - Alfred A. CHAMBERS, Ohio, junior chemist at $1,200 in the Geological Survey, and Ralph R. REDINGER, West Virginia, under clerk at $720 in the Bureau of Mines.
Temporary appointment - Miss Marguerite C. LOUDEN, stenographer and typewriter in the Geological Survey at $3 per diem.
Transfers - Jacob DOXTATER, from junior clerk at $720 in the Indian office, to the La Points Agency in Wisconsin; Miss Lizzy DORSEY, from charwoman, to the chief clerks office in the Treasury Department; Sidney R. PERHAM, from the Panama Canal Service, to under clerk at $1,020 in the Reclamation Service, and William H. DAVENPORT, from the Panama Canal Service to the Reclamation Service at $1,260.
Resignations - Miss Maude E. DEMING, copyist at $720 in the General Land Office; Richard F. J. COGAN, junior clerk at $1,260 in the Reclamation Service, and Edwin STALEY, under clerk at $1,020 in the Bureau of Mines.
