TORONTO, Ont., Sept. 18. W. Davis and George Redpath, two Americans who were arrested in this city on a charge of having stolen $880 in gold from a resident of Oakland, Mich., were before the court Tuesday. They pleaded not guilty, and their case was laid over until Monday. This is the first case in this province subject to the provisions of the new extradition act.
