Queen of Beekeeping

The queen of bees is Mrs. Jennie Atchley of Beeville, Bee County, Tex. During 1893 she sold 4,000 queen bees of her own special raising, and some of them bought $100 each. Mrs. Atchley has 1,000 stands of bees, and she and her children attend to them wholly. Beekeeping is a neat and profitable occupation for women. In connection with poultry raising or gardening, it might be made a great success.
