Otis Dow Sweet to Direct G. W. U. Singers

Otis Dow SWEET, M. S., assistant professor of chemistry in the George Washington University and for years prominently connected with local musical interests, has been obtained as general director of the University Glee Club, according to announcement just made by President Leo C. TERRY.
The club has been handicapped in the past by the absence of an experienced leader, the directorship of the organization having been undertaken by student members. Under the leadership of Mr. SWETT, who is well known as a singer and organist, the club is expected to thrive. Mr. TERRY has sent out an appeal for new members, so the club may prepare for its spring song festival.

[SWEET or SWETT - not sure which is correct and which is a typo.]
