The jury in the case of John Spelman, son of Edward Spelman, the Peoria distiller, the defendant being charged with robbing a gun store, found the accused guilty, but that he was insane when the crimes was committed and is still partly crazy. Judge Samuels has ordered that Spelman be conveyed to the asylum at Kankakee.
