On Sunday, 7th inst., of a protracted illness, Thomas R. Davies, late proprietor of the Washington House, Washington Street, in this city, and a native of Radnorshire, South Wales, in the 33rd year of his age.

On the 19th ult., at sea on board the brig Francis Amy, while on his passage to the Island of Cuba, Francis H. Mathews, aged 23 years.

On Monday, 8th inst., Frances Leary, in the 22nd year of her age.

On Sunday, 7th instant, Mary Isabella Wright, daughter of William H. and Susannah Wright, aged 11 months and 28 days.

On Monday morning, 8th inst, of a lingering illness, Robert F. Rich, in the 26 year of his age.

On Monday, 8th inst., William Roosevelt, son of the Honorable James Roosevelt, being the third death in the family within a few days.

On Monday, 8th inst., Mary McCaffrey, wife of John McCaffrey, aged 61 years.

In Concord, Mass., 25th ult., Colonel Jones Buttrick, aged 77 years.

At Staten Island, on Monday, 8th inst., William Harcourt, son of Richard Harcourt, age 36.

On Tuesday, 9th inst., after a short illness, Henry Henderson.

On Monday, 8th inst., of scarlet fever, near Madison, N.J.. Adeline Lynn, daughter of Jacob and Adeline Lynn, of this city, aged 3 years.

On Wednesday, 10th inst., Mrs. McKay, aged 83 years, widow of the late James McKay, a native of Scotland, and for the last 50 years a resident of this city. Norfolk papers, please copy.

At Harlem, in the 63rd year of her age, Mary Kenna, widow of the late John Kenna.

At Bridgeport, Conn., on the 9th inst., Joseph Newman, aged 1 year and 4 months, son of William and Fanny Newman.

At Francisville, Mo., Egbert Mactin, aged 30 years, of congestion of the brain, formerly pupil of S. F. B. Morse, at the National Academy of Design.

On Tuesday, 9th inst., Dennis Striker, in the 81st year of his age.

On Thursday, 11th inst., Mary Dougherty McDonald, wife of Martin McDonald and daughter of the late John Dougherty, aged 19 years, 14 days.

On Wednesday, 10th inst., Mary Flize Merrifield, wife of William Merrifield, aged 19 years.

On Friday, 12th inst., Henry T. Herrick, only son of Stephen D. and Helen A. Herrick, aged 3 months and 13 days.

On Thursday, 11th inst., John Courier (Courter?), aged 47 years.

On Friday, 12th inst., of scarlet fever, Oscar Mott, aged 3 years and 3 months. Funeral on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence of his father, 244 Elizabeth Street.
