Verdict Against Central
Columbus, Ga., May 20. – The jury in the case of Charles M. Mote versus the Central of Georgia Railway company bought in a verdict giving the plaintiff $5,000. Mote was a fireman on the road and claims that he was injured for life through the negligence of the company in not having the “apron” between the engine and tender properly adjusted. The case was hard fought throughout.
