DROWNED



Freddie, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. McCLELLAN, aged ten years, was drowned

while bathing in the Solomon river, on Thursday, June 14th, 1888.



The father was absent from home when the sad news was telegraphed him. He

reached home in time for the funeral on Saturday, June 16th, at two p.m.



The services were conducted by Rev. A. B. CONWELL at the residence of the

parents.



The Band of Hope attended in a body, to look for the last time in this

world upon the from of little Freddie.



Truly "we know not what a day may bring forth," but He who said "They

shall be mine in that day when I make up my jewels" doeth all things

well.



The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
