$15,000 For Woman’s Home
Bequests amounting to approximately fifteen thousand dollars were made to the Woman’s Home of Montgomery by the late S. B. Bennett, Supt. of the Montgomery Division of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, who died in Montgomery about a week ago.

New Presidents
At a meeting of the nine District Agricultural School Boards at Montgomery last Friday, two new presidents of district agricultural schools were elected. B. H. Boyd, Principal of the Geneva County High School, was elected President of the Third District School at Abbeville, to succeed D. W. McLain, who recently was nominated by the Henry County School Board as Principal of the Henry County High School which is located at Headland. G. H. Thigpen, of Brunswick, Tenn., was elected President of the Fourth District School at Sylacauga, to succeed J. E. Cheatham.
