Not a Candidate
Reports that Henry P. Merritt, chairman of the legislative investigating committee, will be a candidate for President of the State Railroad Commission in the Democratic primaries early next year, has brought a denial from Mr. Merritt. “I am not, have never thought of and shall not be a candidate for President of the Railroad Commission,” said Merritt.
