Deaths in Virginia: Bohanon, Walker, Pendleton, Davis, Vernon, Folks, Alvis

Funeral of John H. Bohanon. John H. Bohanon, son of the late Robert D. and Elizabeth Cameron Bohanon, died early yesterday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock from L. T. Christian's funeral parlors, 1012 East Broad Street. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Ex-Soldier is Dead. Ferguson Christian Walker, late of the Medical Corps, U.S.A., died at the home of his uncle, W. M. Cauthorn, 301 North Robinson Street, last evening at 8 o'clock after a long illness. He is survived by two sisters, Lula Mary Walker and Mamie Lee Walker, and two brothers, George T. Walker and William H. Walker. Funeral will be from the home tomorrow at 3:30 o'clock.

William R. Pendleton. Pulaski, June 27. William R. Pendleton, aged 59, died Friday night from paralysis, a stroke of which he suffered during the day. He was a native of Bland County. A widow, half brother and half sister survive.

Mrs. Lena M. Davis. Lynchburg, June 27. Mrs. Lena Maud Davis, aged 30, wife of James R. Davis, died late Friday at her home here after a brief illness. Her husband and nine children survive her.

Mrs. Jennie S. Vernon. Danville, June 27. Mrs. Jennie S. Vernon, aged 59, died suddenly today at her home on Thomas Street. She had been in failing health latterly, but her condition was not regarded as serious. She is survived by her husband, G. W. Vernon and six children.

Mrs. Cora Folks. Lynchburg, June 27. Mrs. Cora Daisy Folks, aged 40, wife of James Folks, died Friday night at her home. Her husband survives.

Mrs. Lizzie G. Alvis. Fredericksburg, June 27. Mrs. Lizzie G. Alvis, aged 42, wife of R. W. Alvis of Corbin, Caroline County, died at her home yesterday following an illness of several months. Mrs. Alvis is survived by her husband and several children. Mr. Alvis is an engineer on the Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Railroad.
