OLD SOLDIER DEAD.

John Eggleson Died this Morning at the Soldier's Home.

John Eggleson aged 73, who was admitted to the home from Rutland in
January died suddenly from heart disease at that institution this
morning. Eggleson was apparently in his usual health and was engaged
in making his bed when he suddenly fell to the floor and expired. The
deceased served in the 14th Vt, Vol during the Civil war and was a member
of the Roberts post GAR of Rutland.
