PRIVATE HOSPITAL IS SOLD TO MRS. BOSSA.

Brightview Purchased From Thomas McKay by Its Superintendent.

Brightview hospital on North street, a private institution, was sold
Saturday to Mrs. Marion Mills Bossa by Thomas F. McKay of Kendall
avenue. Both persons declined to tell the purchase price.
Under present management, Brightview was opened May 12, 1928, when about
250 attended an "open house" and inspection. The staff at the time
included Mrs. Bossa, superintendent, and graduate of Quincy (Mass.) City
hospital, and Mrs. Madeline Patnaude and Miss M.E. Silver, registered
nurses.
The building contains nine rooms for patients, six private and three
semi- private, outfitted to accommodate general cases. There is also a
complete operating room.
Brightview was formerly Crescent Place Sanatorium and Convalescent home,
owned by Anson M. Perkins and managed by Florence Russell Perkins.
Mrs. Bossa will continue Brightview in its present status, continuing as
superintendent. She stated last night that there are no plans of
enlargement or change.
