Convicted of Killing a Negro
The jury which had the case of Shell Cochran, charged with the murder of Sterling Thompson, an aged negro, on January 3, at Fairburne, Ga., brought in a verdict of guilty. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. Pegram Cochran, brother of Shell Cochran, was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment a week ago for the same crime. Steve Cochran, another brother, and L. A. Hester, Jim Polk Demoney, Frank Reeves, John Pace and John McKenzie, all white men were jointly indicted for the murder of the old negro Thompson. Hester’s trial was taken up. Hester pleaded guilty and was also given a life sentence.

Murder and Suicide
The dead bodies of Mrs. H. M. Wilson, a young widow, and William Hamilton, a student in pharmacy, who disappeared from Atlanta one week ago to-day, were found one mile from the end of the Chattahoochee car line. The surroundings indicated that Hamilton had killed Mrs. Wilson, set fire to the woods near her body and then ended his own life.

I had female trouble for over a year, and was confined to the bed for six months, I was treated by six very prominent physicians without any marked benefit. My last doctor was a skilled specialist, and he told me the only hope lay in an operation. I heard of SMITH’S SURE KIDNEY CURE, and after using it for one month I find myself cured, and even the doctor who last treated me now pronounced me well.
