Declines to Prosecute
SAN RAFAEL, Nov. 25.--Ike Elk, the mate of Commodore Gutte's yacht Chispa, who three weeks ago shot his friend Nick Burge at Sausalito, was released from the county jail this morning as no charge has been placed against him. Nick Burge did not care to prosecute him. It was supposed that this case would throw some light on the mysterious murder of Capt. Brooks of the Chispa, but this hope has now been abandoned.
