SAN FRANCISCO, July 18.--Rev. F. C. Foute, Rector of Grace Episcopal Church, has been stricken with paralysis in the left side. For some time he was unconscious, and it was feared that he could not survive. He has recovered the use of his faculties, however, and his condition is reported as greatly improved.
