BEEBE, Ark., Nov. 8. (Spl.)—Private Ollie Hendrix, for whom memorial services were held at Beebe, and who was said to have been the first White county man killed on the European battlefront, has written his mother here denying strenuously that he is dead saying that he had been wounded but was out of the hospital and soon would again enter the fighting.
