Milton, Delaware August 14 1900

Milton citizens now have a river connection to the outside world. The transport steamer Massapequa began last week to connect with the steamer Pokanolet at Drwabriddge . This is not what the people of Milton want but the best they can have at this time. Freight was light last week due to late ripening peaches. Maassapequa ill make trips from Milton on Wednesday and Saturday, times regulated by the tide, and connect with the steamer at Drwabridge one hour later for Arch Street Wharf Philadelphia.

The tug Suparta came to Milton on Friday with two vessels in tow and is yet at the .
