OGDEN, Utah, Oct. 1.--J. A. Foley, general agent at Salt Lake of the Illinois Central, was in Ogden visiting the business men and the representatives of his company's connections.
In the Second Judicial district court, in the case of the First National bank against N. O. Mortensen of Ogden valley, in which judgment has been entered, an order was issued by Judge Howell to foreclose under the real estate mortgage under which the debt was contracted.
Mrs. Grace R. Brewster, 31 years of age, wife of Frederick Brewster, 146 Tracey avenue, died of Bright's disease.
The livestock firm of R. S. Brooks & Son reports that it has purchased 15,000 head of fat sheep in Wyoming, at Cokeville and Evanston, for shipment to the Missouri markets, and that it is now getting a bunch of cattle for the same buyers.
