PONTOTOC, Miss.--The body of Corporal Buford Reid, who died in France, reached Sherman Saturday, accompanied by Private Will Smith, of Camp Gordon, Ga., as a military escort. The funeral services were held by the Rev. N. J. Holding at the Methodist church. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Reid. He died at Lemans, France, on Oct. 10, 1918. Members of the American Legion attended the burial at the cemetery.
