Montgomery Makes $30,000
Montgomery.—Camp Sheridan property purchased by the city several weeks ago from the government, Tuesday afternoon was sold for a profit of $30,000. The city paid $10,000 for the camp, and the city commission sold it to Fred J. Crampton, T. L. Bear and I. O. Anderson for $40,000. The purchasers will begin immediately tearing away the hundreds of buildings, storing it for future use. The city agrees also to sell the mammoth base hospital for a consideration of $10,000.
