Paymaster Jas. R. Wasson, of the U. S. army, has been dismissed from the army and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment at hard labor in the Kansas penitentiary, for misapplying government money. The difficulty with Wasson was, that he didn’t steal enough to make himself respected with the powers that be, as the star route thieves did.
