Description: She Divorced Him Unjustly. Now Mrs. WHALEN's Ready to Take Husband Home After Twenty Years.

Date: July 2 1915

Newspaper published in: Doniphan, MO

Pasadena - Divorced 20 years ago through an unjust suspicion, James WHALEN, former customs officer at Seattle, secured his discharge from the National Soldier's home at Sawtelle, Cal., and is making preparations to re-wed his former wife, who owns an orange grove near this city.

When WHALEN was stationed in Seattle his wife obtained a divorce on the ground that WHALEN was too friendly with a woman secret service employee.

Mrs. WHALEN, in later years, learned that her suspicions upon which she was granted a divorce were unjust.

When WHALEN visited his wife here for the first time he met his daughter, whom he had never seen and of whose existence he was innocent.
