Overbrook,, Delaware 11 November 1920:

White's Chapel, one of the oldest Methodist churches on the Peninsula was burned to the the ground early this morning. The church is in the Nassau Circuit of the Wilmington Conference
and is situated between Whitesboro and Overbrook in Broadkill Hundred.
Revival services were being held by Rev. William Wilson and a congregation had left at
11 o'clock last night.
At 12:30 a passerby discovered the building to be on fire and gave alarm, but before any assistance arrived the church was a mass of flames and nothing was saved.
