M. C. Allgood, Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, who has been urged by his friends to make a race in the Seventh Congressional District for the seat made vacant by the death of Congressman Jno. L. Burnett, late Saturday afternoon, gave out through the Montgomery Journal that he had decided to remain out of the race.
