Date: August 28 1902

Newspaper published in: Houston, MO

Died at the home of her son, Henry KEENEY, 13 miles north of Houston, last Friday, August 22, Mrs. Elizabeth KEENEY.

"Grandma" KEENEY was born in Madison county, Kentucky, on March 4, 1810, making her age at death 92 years, 5 months and 18 days. She was the widow of Abner Martin KEENEY.

Mrs. KEENEY was the mother of 12 children and had 110 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. About 65 years ago Mrs. KEENEY became a member of the Baptist church and has been a devoted member of the same ever since.

Mrs. KENNEY was doubtless the oldest lady in Texas county. She was well known for her kindly disposition and in her death the community has lost one of its best old ladies, the children a devoted mother.

The sorrowing relatives have the sincere sympathy of a host of friends, in which the Herald earnestly joins.
