Description: Sussex Death of Dr Steel of Rehoboth

Rehoboth Beach August 21 1975 :

Services were held Sunday, at St. George's Methodist Church at Clarksville for Dr. Richard Bennett Steel, age 53, a dentist in Rehoboth for twenty two years. He died August 14th during a fishing trip with a heart attack.

Dr. Steel was stricken about 7:30 pm and had fallen overboard in the Delaware Bay. Another boat nearby had pulled him aboard and took him to the Lewes Coast Guard Station, then he was taken to Beebe Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He is survived by his wife, Ina and four sons, a sister and a brother.

Interment was in St. Georges Cemetery, Clarksville.
