OUT OF TOWN NEWS
A deservedly high honor was paid Rev. R. H. Cobbs, D. D., on September 26th, when his parishioners celebrated the golden anniversary of his Rectorship in the Episcopal Church at Greensboro. Not only was an elegant reception given him but he was presented with a handsome silver service.
Dr. Cobbs is affectionately remembered here by warm friends as he spent much time in Huntsville during his early ministry, and all, with one accord extend hearty congratulations in, not only the good work he has accomplished, but the loving regard in which all Greensboro has ever held him. For, as to his ministrations and charities, there was no separate creed.
May God bless and preserve him in health of mind and body for years to come, that he may continue to “Let his light so shine before men that they may see his good works.”
