THE people interested in the building of the M. B. & A. R. R. are under obligations to Hon. Jas. T. Harrison, of Lowndes, for his able and manly support of the bill, releasing it from certain provisions of the Memphis, Selma and Brunswick charter. He rose above all ungenerous rivalry and petty spite, and placed himself on record as a legislator capable of grasping the interests of the entire State.
