Simmons, Mo., January 28, 1913.

In memory of Aunt Pop Rycroft as she was called. She was born May 15, 1827, and died January 8, 1913, making her 85 years, 7 months and 23 days of age. Her husband died about 17 or 18 years ago. Since that time she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Molly Flowers, where she died. She leaves 6 children to mourn the loss of a kind mother. There were two of her children present when she passed away, Jane and Molly Flowers. The rest of her children were in Oklahoma. There were two of her boys, John an James Rycroft, came to see her some time ago but they had gone home before she died. She said she was ready to die and willing to go. She was heard to say she wished she was dead and out of misery for it would be well with her then. The sympathy of the settlement is with the family. She is gone but not forgotten. A FRIEND
