The jury in the case of I. H. Vincent, ex-treasurer, of Montgomery, Ala., indicted for the embezzlement of a bill of exchange of $20,000, came into court and rendered a verdict of guilty, with a recommendation of mercy, on two courts in the indictment. The penalty is from two to five years in the penitentiary on each.
