The committee of incorporators made a report through their chairman, Capt. E. J. Oden, that they were not ready to report on a charter and asked farther time. On motion it was granted.
On motion Hon. W. H. Simpson was added to the committee which was E. J. Oden, J. I. Stockton, M. K. Mahan, J. H. Corsbie, C. H. Cooper, W. A. Barclift and J. A. Rountree.

The meeting was harmonious and showed that our citizens were imbued with an interest in the advancement of Hartselle.
Hon. J. C. Orr made a proposition to the company to deed them free twelve nice residence lots, it they will build upon them. Of course the proposition will be accepted as soon as the company is put on a permanent basis.
