$200 Pearl in Oyster: John T. Waples says there is luck in keeping an oysrer saloon and to prove it he found a pearl in an oyster last week that expert jewelers say is worth $200.

Barrels!. Empty barrels! By the car load. For the past ten days all of the available teams for miles around have been hauling the empty barrels from the stranded three masted schooner that went ashore just above the lower life saving station near Rehoboth. The vessels cargo made over 20 car loads and was shipped from here to the Fisheries at Lewes by the wrecking contractor, Chase, Merritt amd Marshall.

Among those who attended the sale of the stranded three masted schooner, Marie Cummings, held last week were A. W. Dick, F. L. Chase, Charles S Horn and P. C. Merritt.
