CRIMES AND CASUALTIES
LYNCHBURG, VA., Mar., 12--G. Brown, a white man living in Bradford county, waylaid and shot his father-in-law, named Sanders, yesterday. Brown's wife had secured a divorce, and being afraid of violence, sent for her father. On his arrival Brown, who was lying in ambush, shot him through the back. The entire neighborhood is aroused and a large party is hunting for the murderer. If caught he will be lynched.
