An Interesting Budget.
Mrs. Reed, wife of N. H. Reed, a prominent farmer in Alexander City, was found dead in bed. Suspicion rested upon the husband, and the coroner’s jury returned a verdict charging him with murder. He denies his guilt stoutly, but has been arrested and placed in jail. Death was caused by strangulation.
