Roscoe Mance of Desloge was arrested on the 16th for reckless driving and being unable to fill a $5,000 bond, he is in jail.
On the 17th Jess Marler and Jess Mead, both of Esther, were arrested for burglary and larceny, charged with stealing copper wire from the National Lead Company. The preliminary will be some time this week.
Paul Hovis of Leadington was arrested for driving while intoxicated; unable to give bond, he is in jail. The date for the preliminary is not set.
Carl Johnson, Glynn Priest, Harold Frye and Coy Stanfield, all of Mine LaMotte, are charged with breaking into Barron's Store at Cross Roads and also for stealing chickens in the nighttime.
Carl Johnson, Glynn Priest, Harold Frye, Morris Barker, Ralph Johnson, Cecil Williams and Hobart Williams were arrested on the 18th for first degree robbery. Holding up and robbing George Beard near Cross Roads.
