Newspaper published in: Springfield, MO
T. C. LOVE, who went to Walnut Grove Saturday, says Geo. M. WRIGHTSMAN'S distillery was suspended on account of the scarcity of water in his well. His mill is also stopped for the same reason. It is his intention to resume as soon as practicable.
Mr. WRIGHTSMAN has received a letter from Kansas City in regard to his missing brother. The last heard of him was when he went to a bank, drew out $500 and drove off with two strangers to look at some real estate on the river. It is thought they murdered Mr. WRIGHTSMAN and concealed his body, as their whereabouts is a mystery. Mr. WRIGHTSMAN'S life was insured for $23,000 and his widow has offered a reward of $2,000 for the recovery of the remains.
